Film Scanner

Hi all,

Need some input from people who have used film scanners before.

I am going to buy a film scanner but not sure which would be the best for my need. Basically, I want to scan all my slides and negs to digital so that I can preserve them and print to A2/A3 size.

I have been looking at the Nikon Coolscan 5000 and the Konica Minolta's (Dual Scan and Elite II). I'm looking for something that performs well while not being overly expensive (hence the KM 5400 is out).

Advise on the film scanners, please. Many thanks.
