Thread: Digital prints

    Default Digital prints

    Hey guys, I wanted to digitally print a few photos from my scanned negative but I lost the negative. All I've left is a rather low res scan(2200+1500) from the past. Is there any solution to have it print on an A2 photo paper without pixels and losing details? Help would be much much appreciated. Some of the photos meant a lot to me personally.

    using 300ppi to print 2200 x 1500 file you will get a 5"x7" print,
    to get an A2 print, 16.5 x 23.4 inches, you can upsampling it,
    by using photoshop or Perfect Resize
    How good of the outcome, depends on how good is the original you have.

    I suggest after you upsampling the file, crop out a couple parts of images in 4R print size, send them to the same lab to print some small test prints
    like what you will do some test strip in conventional darkroom printing.
