2nd CanonGraphers Photoshoot Outing

Follow the success of the first CanonGraphers Photoshoot Outing, I shall propose the 2nd outing to be held at the Mandai Orchid Garden (MOG).

Date : 4 June 2005
Time : 0800 hours
Meeting Place : Entrance of MOG
Cost : $2 Entrance Fee

For contingency plan, I am pleased to announce that TechMage will be booking the Studio at the Canon Digital Lab on that day in the event of heavy downpour. Therefore, there will be photoshoot regardless of the weather.

You can take bus 138 outside Ang Mo Kio MRT to MOG. For those who wanted to meet at Ang Mo Kio MRT, you can arrange to meet earlier and go together.

If you are not intertested in MOG, you can go to the zoo instead as it's within walking distance. Just meet up with the rest at the entrance of MOG before you move off to the zoo. After the photoshoot, we will all gather at the KFC in the zoo.

I do hope that TechMage is able to loan out the EF 400mm f4 DO IS lens for us to try out. Not forgetting our sports photographer Smurfie who will be bringing his EF 200mm f1.8L USM if he can make it.

Thanks Xing for the support.

I guess that it's just 2 of us for this outing. I have yet heard anything from other CanonGraphers. Maybe MOG is not the cup of tea for most people.

Nevertheless, we will still carry on.

We can shoot sunbirds and macro. Just pray that the weather is fine and good.

For those who are coming from the West, you can take bus no. 926 from Woodlands Bus Interchange as well as 927 from Chua Chu Kang Bus Interchange to MOG.

I heard that the traveling time of 926 / 927 to MOG is faster than 138 from Ang Mio Kio.
