Hello everyone,
I am thinking of buying the Ricoh Caplio R2 camera for my dear wife. The camera is 5.1 megapixels with a zoom range of 28mm to 135mm (35mm format) and it is 4.8x optical zoom. I would like to hear feedback on this camera on whether it is good or no good. Will be using for point & shoot, candid, night, day, beach, holiday, etc... Thanks in advance. Cheers..... |

alamak! how come no one reply in 4 days? well since my nickname in forum is ricohflex..... the caplio seems OK. seems to have fast start up and high shutter speed. controls are basic which is good since mrs you buy it for, got no time to delve in techie part of photography external is smooth and nice. polished. good choice for ladies. not the "rugged mountain biking " type of look. shots are sharp. some say too sharp - from oversharpening algorithm in camera. good point and shoot. fuss free. I think uses 2AA bty which is great for travel. Last edited by ricohflex; 20th May 2005 at 09:54 PM. |
