Thanks guys, glad you like them. Still want learn some more of composition. I owe some tips to Max2.8 and PandaOng in one of my previous posts.

Quackk - Yes, that's a coconut tree. It's a solitary one among all the other trees. It's also the same tree you see in #3, from a different angle.

billitone - no problem if you can't join us yesterday, there's always a next time. In fact IR Shoot #14 is in the making, Nisa is finalising shooting location and date.

Ross
- How come my trees so white? Like Pablo once said I use bleach

I get them by:

1. During the Channel Mixing step, I adjust the Red channel more than 100%. So they look a bit reddish.
2. The Hue/Saturation step, I adjust the Red and Yellow channels saturation -ve to the white I want.

You can in fact adjust them to other colours of your liking. Like these:

Watch out for IR Shoot #14 in the IR Forum, should be on 29th. May 2005.

I see in your profile that you're using a C5050Z, I think it is IR capable but maybe in mono only. Max 2.8 should be able to assist you further as he used that previously for IR.

Don't think anyone of us has actually shot IR Portraits before. But here's a picture of one of the us in IR.

Nice shots, teerex ! I like #2 & #5 best... the rest are great too.
I'm still trying to get the brighter blue sky, worry it will lose the picture quality.

Yes xsys, all handheld. You did not see me carry or use a tripod that day did you? All I had was my bipod below my waist

Yep. Be prepared with looong exposures with the 300D and pray that wind don't blow when shutter is open.

Dunno how long exactly. Maybe in the region of 5sec -10sec depending on the aperture used.

You may wish to go through THIS THREAD
which lists not only of cameras capable of IR but also suitable lenses.

Big brother, I must salute you. You really got steady hands.
Ya, I did not see you carry any tripod. Now I know why you don't need them ...
