First CanonGraphers Outing Shoot

Due the heavy down pour this morning, many CanonGraphers did not turn up. Nevertheless, there were still some surviors despite the cats and dogs.

We did some lens testing, but the main highlight was the testing of the EF 300mm f2.8L IS USM.

Of course with courtesy of +evenstar - the White Knight.

These are the test shots of the 300mm f2.8L IS USM.

Crop 100% from the signboard letter's 'S' to see the lens sharpness. No sharpening was done for all the cropped images.

The 300mm f2.8L IS USM is incrediblely sharp even at f2.8.

Hmm.. dun quite get it. Why would you guys be aiming the Taxi Stand Signpost? The meeting is to test 300 f2.8?

The lens testing was conducted after the photo shoot. This was just one of the agendas.

The testing of lenses is conducted after the shoot...to let others try out lenses that they do not own..

Now that you guys have kick started the CanonGraphers support group in ClubSNAP forums, met up with each others and even organise outing shoot, perhaps it’s time that the fellow CanonGraphers nominate a moderator for the Canon Forum.
