Oh, all you need is one outing, it's basically better than trying out the cam yourself for a couple of days... 来来来... 我帮你开张~~

It took me a while before I could take good photos with my 300D.
Getting used to DSLRs took more time than I expected, considering I had used prosumer Digicams and film SLRs extensively in the past.

I hope what I've learnt from my previous digicm (an Olympus C5050) in the past 2 years can make the learning curve smoother...

using the left hand to turn to zoom the lens was the hardest thing to learn for me when I first started

Luckily the card is a real 1.0GB

Just wondering how could SanDisk tolerants such packing mistake... to me, product packing represents a company's image/reputation wo...

Default Made in China

Due to low production cost, most mem cards made in China now.
This card likely made in China.
This packaging mistake was due to poor English.

China is suffering the same problem that Japan had.
Have you read some old (1970s to 1980s) Made in Japan product manuals in English? Funny sounding. But never mind, China, unlike Japan is keen to absorb English.

In 3 years, many in China will be as good as us in Singapore, on English.
China veers towards US-English.
Japan lost a head start of 30 years to master English.

I bought a set of DVD RW+ recently. Also made in China. Very Cheap.
Because of "packaging mistake". We all know DVD is 4.7 GB
The DVD RW+ was nicely stamped "700 MB".
No complaints about the performance. It had 4.7GB storage.
