Question current DSC-W5 users?

Hi ya all, are there many DSC-W5 users on this forum? I had been reading reviews on this camera, but it's all very confusing.. i mean who knows which review is really unbiased, which is really being paid to say it's good??

There is one opinion that I care about a lot, someone said the slightest movement from your object will blur the image... for eg. when the person in the photo turned his/her head slightly or wave his/her hand and the photo will turned out blur... I tried a friend's Lumix, I felt it has this problem and it's horrible... it means you can't take "natural" photos, can't take people/things in action, i.e. have to keep everyone in the photo very still...

DSC-W5 users have that problem???? Hibernate?

I think many cameras will have this problem if the shutter speed is slow. Increase the shutter speed in low light conditions or use flash.

I think ANY camera shooting moving subjects might have the same "problem", not only Lumix.

To reduce the chances of blurred pictures for moving subject, use faster shuttle speed whenever possible.

Bcoz only you know what extent of "blurrness" is acceptable, best is to try out all the different cameras yourself at the next PC Show in the beginning of next month.

However, please bear in mind that a picture that appears sharp on the digital camera display may not appear sharp when you develop it or view it on your computer. This is especially true for camera with small display area.

In order to counter this, you should zoom in on the picture to have a more accurate view, ie to use the whole display area to view only a section of the full picture.

i used Olympus C-750 and there wasn't any problem like this so I thought only certain models or brands hv such problem... my friend's Lumix, when using flash also the photo turned out blur from the slightest movement.

yes, its true, but the blurness is becos u moved your hand when u shoot the photo.
but b4 u shoot, when focusing, if the camera senses that your image might be blur, it warns u. so u can change the ISO to a higher setting to try and counter this.
