If so, then how to cope?

Or you can have a group of officers to draft answers on your behalf. These drafts will be vetted by another one or two or three layers of successively higher ranking officers.

Presume that the questions will first be sorted into:
    antagonistic
    neutral
    favourable

But there will be a few specially selected questions where you can give a favourable reply and these will be personally replied by you.
That will give impression that all were personally drafted and replied.

Have read elsewhere that at least one US President does not personally answer ALL his mail from US citizens.
Ask him he too free issit ......

We read and hear a lot of his great works and contributions. It is about time we hear from him directly things he regret doing and mistakes. Why?

It gives him the opportunity to speak up before one leaves the world one day and also provide the next generations to come to learn what mistakes not to be repeated. It also serves as history for the generations to come to witness if he has been honest or correct in his memoir. We all live with regrets and hopefully he is able to let go and share. He has done his part and truly served the nation.

    Thank you LKY.

Income less than 20k annually, and you do not need to pay income tax.

But Kit, your 20 percent income tax is for nation building, please contribute for the prosperity of singaporeans and nation.

Is it difficult to step out of your dad's shadow?

His son belongs to a completely different generation. Just try using LKY's tone today as a PM and see what happens.

BTW, it's just like the Democrats and Republicans. They tend to oppose for the sake of opposing. The trend here is the same as in the states

We need an iron hand like the great Deng Xiaoping to run Singapore.

We have too much freedom of speech and the opposition has too much power.
