btw, they are not army boys, they are army serviceMEN. btw also, it's fun working at NDP, an escape from regular duties, and of course the burnt weekends. Last edited by mervlam; 12th May 2005 at 07:54 PM. |

NDP duties are under rated. I remember being involved in 2 NDPs. For every weekend burned i got 2 days off the next week. My god, its like not booking into camp for 4mths. And what was my job? To take photos!

its not which unit but who your boss is. heh. My CO gave one day, my CSM gave another. Plus the fact that we had to go down some weekday afternoons, hehe.

Plus the fact that we had to go down some weekday afternoons, those were effectively 1/2 days cos we only had to report there straight. On the down side, i had to clear 4mths of paperwork (job) inside 1mth becos of all the day offs. No complains. Anyone got lobang to shoot this year's NDP? Would love to be there.

i think you got the wrong perception. "innovation & entrepreneurship" and creativity applies to industry and economy, a KBE (knowledge-based economy). we cannot rely on traditional industries like manufacturing to survive. S'pore must become a knowledge hub to be competitive (i read your blog anyway) |
