Default Minox spy camera users anyone?

I wonder how many users still keep or collect Minox spy cameras or its 35mm models. Dont seem to see this camera in 2nd hand shops nowadays.

Hi,

I still use a 35mm Minox ML. Have 8x11 MX but never use it much to shoot. Film is hard to get and expensive.

Probably need to get from ebay. Fotografix marketing still carries the Minox range of cameras. New though.

Wanted to get a Minox C but no dough no enuf.

Looks like there are very few Minox users in our market. Not many ppl appreciate its value, sad to say.

not true. just bulk roll yourself for the films. i did it myself with B/W films and developed it myself. it's cheaper actually than to send it out for processing. btw also gives u the satisfactions in doing all by yourself from bulk rolling, taking, developing neg and printings. quite fun although process is somewhat long than just sending to the lab.

Besides discussing about the Minox 8x11 spy cameras, what about the Minox 35mm range? This range of 35mm Minox cameras goes like this:
EL, GL, GT, PL, PE, ML, MB, AL, GT-E, 35-AF, MDC, GT-X, GT-S.

The film used is common & inexpensive. No need to slit films into half in the case of spy cameras.

Info taken from http://www.minoxography.org/specs.html

Anyone got the cute Leica-Minox IIIf?

My fren had a GT-X or GT-E not sure which one but black color.

It had a rubber coating on the body which, IMO is not suited for our local condition. It tends to come off easily.

Also had the common shutter failure problem which happened exactly after warranty. Costs him over $200 to repair.

Have a cute Leica-Minox IIIf in my drybox.

Anyone interested in buying a right-angled finder for your Minox subminiture camera? I got one by mistake, thinking it'll work for my Minox 35mm.
