Default Anyone try out the AF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED

Hi,

As above wonder anyone try out this lens...
Will me thankful for any feedback provided....

Bought a second hand one, sold it off within a week,but as it was a 2 mths old lens, I actually made 20 bucks from the sale... was not comfortable with the quality of the images.

ok thanx....
I saw a thread on the 18-200mm sigma lens today.. i see more keen on that lens then this....
wonder anyone get also.. and maybe do a review on it...

Use to own a Nikkor 28-200mm. Very convenient indeed but lacks sharpness and contrast. Wouldn't recommend unless you are attracted by the relatively low price yet big range factor. 100% disappointment Not sure of the 18-200mm though.

You pay for what you get... Great all purpose lens esp for travelling...

yes.. I'm indeed looking for an extra lens for travelling...but I would also want a lens to be of acceptable sharpness and contrast..

else pic taken will be a great disaapointment...

With the right techniques and skills, it will work fine... take a look at my link, 90% was shot using this lens...

great photo you have taken... yes I do agree how nice the photo come to to be depend alot on who is the one taking..
