hello,
we all know that e300's iso1600 images are quite noisy. anyone has any suggestion on how to clean up those noise effectively? |

if u wanna reduce color noise, you can use photoshop, change the mode to lab color, then the channels palette would have an 'a' and 'b', and lightness and lab.
select 'a' the apply a gaussian blur (2-10) to 'a' and 'b', the strongeer the blur the less color noise. then change back to RGB color. you can make this an action in ps. Or if u want silky smooth kinda photos try neatimage or noiseware, both available free on the internet, Lastly u can shoot RAW and use noise reduction option when u process the files |

any one used neatimage on e300 iso1600 images before? what setting did you used?

Generally, you can download those Neat Image camera profile for E-300 from their site. You can also use Auto Profile, then save the profile settings for later use.
Tune down the in-camera sharpening, say -1 will give you slightly less noise in high ISO, as any sharpening will exaggerate noise. |

thanks for all the responses so far. those who owns e300, how do you find the iso1600 images after cleaning through neatimage? is it effective?
