Default will cross-slinging the lowepro off road work?

http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Belt.../Off_Road.aspx

as above, i know that the off road is a belt-pack

but think carrying a DSLR on the waist [plus other stuff] might be too heavy

have any lowepro off road users tried cross slinging it?

i.e. like a messenger bag?

Perhaps the pictures on the Lowepro site aren't clear enough, but the Off Road actually comes with a shoulder strap.

if ur concerned about weight distribution, i suggest u get a diff model, which can put on the S&F deluxe waistbelt. its more padded and offers more support.

i've a chronic back problem, so dependin on the load, i prefer to have the weight distributed with a backpack, rather than a waist/shoulder strap alone.

hope it helps.
