Default Photoshop CS and Monitor Profile

I have just calibrated my monitor, thus created a monitor profile. Do I have to tell Photoshop CS what my monitor profile is inorder to have the images display correctly? If yes, how to do it? I looked thru all the help menus, they discussed the importance of creating a monitor profilel, but failed to tell me what to do with is vis-a-vis photoshop.

Thanks

just make sure that in "Display Properties", "Settings", "Advanced", "Color Management" the profile you created is assigned as the monitor profile.
