why the thick banner?
Why the thick banner to separate the sticky threads with the normal thread. It is too thick isnt it?

i kinda agree with sumball... it's a little thick for a separator line...

May i suggest use a Red background for stickies.. so you dun need separators!

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. We are experimenting with this layout as we realise that sticky threads are not prominently highlighted and thus may be missed by those that are new to the Forums, and may even be overlooked by Forum regulars.
This is a temporary solution and we will be looking to make it more pleasantly integrated with the normal posts BUT at the same time, prominent enough to be noticed. |

hhmm i agree. being new, its quite easy to miss out on the stickies.
perhaps they look slightly too large on lower res screens...perhaps. looks comfy on 1280 res thou.

Bold the topics for stickies Change the unclicked link colour Change the background colour Thats all folks.. |

I will check to see if its feasible/doable. In any case, please treat this as a work in progress (aren't all things in life a work in progress?) and we will try to improve as best we can. |

Yup... no need for separation since it will only reduce the no. of threads per page.
