BTW I think the 2 are very different product for different market.
The Archos is marketed as a video recorder.

The RRP in Australia is A$899. It is reaching the S$1000 mark for a 40 GB photo storage.

Well, if it is launched on the 20 May 2005, it will be before the PC Show 2005 which will be held from June 2 to 5 at Hall 6 of Singapore Expo.

Anyone have any ideas which vendor will sell the p2000.

I wonder if the Nikon D50 will be showcased at the PC show ?

I have just talked to the Epson Sales rep at the Funan IT mall. The RRP of the Epson is S$938.

It is available from today, 20/05/05 from
1) South Asia Computer, Funan.
2) Cathay photo
3) Skylet, Sim Lim Square
4) Global IT, Sim Lim Square

I bought my Epson P2000 at the South Asia Computer, Funan and the price was S$888.

HTH.

Its definitely possible. Read about a guy upgrading to 100G harddisk (on dpreview or somewhere similar). He even posted a step by step set of instructions.
