105mm is a 1:1 ratio lens, add the 1.5 crop factor of the dslr = ?
Price? Can't remember already, so long ago.

OOUH...105 Nikkor Macro!

Was it da 2.8 or the 4? Loved da 2.8 but could only affod the 4 back then.

Mine is the 2.8 bought it 2nd hand, many many years ago.

Remember not too long ago when you professed your admiration for the nature macro/close-up shooters?

Now, it's your turn to be admired.

Oh, BTW, I didn;t really care what version of lens you had. The photos mattered, that's all.
