Not really, Fotohub is having a promotion for a roll of sensia 100 (a consumer type of slide but deliver better quality than a normal negative) plus processing cost only $6.90. Isnt this cheaper than a normal negative? Of course, dun compare with the printing part, we seldom print slides but view it thru projector or light box as discuss earlier on.

Different slide film have different uses by different people, and so the cost too. You can find some price guides on the film prices here and the processing prices here

MS Color also collects slides for processing and could be convenient for people living in the north. The prices are more competitive than Fotohub I think.

i shoot a roll of velvia on the F80 and a roll of provia on my F75. Film+processing cost about $19 each.
Beautiful! The sky and sea color is solid.
I got a feeling that even a P&S film camera will outbeat DSLR like D70 with these two slides flim.

Scan it with the nikon scanner. May print out a few from the digital scan to see how good it would be.

Yo Slidemaster, Thats rather STEEP pricing for expired Sensia 100. Almost the same as brand new boxed sensia.

Anyway, I offer to take the 10 rolls for $15. Self collect.
