    Nice work!

the saturation fits the mood, but the placement of the broken pieces don't seem natural and doesn't really convey the heartbroken message, but the idea is there.

Suggestion: use a wilted rose instead?

hhmmm nice work! but think ya as some has said... the rose is a little too complete....

somehow i feel the vase is not broker properly? as in the rim of the vase is still quite circular after breaking....

but well that's just my personal opinion 0.0002c worth..

    keep shooting!!

Alamak, why you guys so cruel want to squash the rose? Does the idea of love hurting mean that the rose can't be complete The vase was smashed using by tapping it with hammer. I tot that it looks pretty real as normally vases don't smash into smitherrens right? (Not too sure of this as I have never actually threw a vase before )

Love the hot, and I have enjoyed the comments from other members. Just for my own curiosity and development, I don't suppose you could throw together a quick diagram of exactly where you had what lights and on what angles could you? I know this is a lot to ask but I'm really interested in that type of shot but I haven't got much equipment yet and am trying to see what i need and how others use different gear.

    Thanks heaps

Well, you could always rely on the 8 frames/sec, and capture the entire downfall of the vase, the impact and shatter and the final resting ground

I wonder what it would look like if you replaced the water with "blood"
    ie any dark red, liquid...

    Might be interesting...
