Question about 1.4 prime lens

Hello Everyone, I would like to find out how much a 1.4 af 50mm costs 2nd hand?
Will having oil on a lens blades affect image quality?
Hope someone will enlighten me!

Hi there,

As a rule of thumb, second hand lens, should cost 60% of its original retail value... applicable for "normal" lens as in not those special type lens....

Oil on the blades, will not affect the image quality, but, better be careful because once you had the oil splash onto the lens, then you need to service it. think twice..

I think, first hand is about S$350 when i bought it... or was it $380?
