    This is embarassing.. I bet Kodak fired their quality department.

    It seems to be recall galore. First Nikon Cp2000, then the Minolta DiMAGE 7i then this.... wonder what's next....

    There's always lots of recalls.

    Nikon F65 QD is still under recall from memory and there was a firmware problem in the USA with the D100 I seem to recall.

    One of the Nikonos underwater flashes (SB-101?) is under permanent recall and refund as well.

    It should be remembered that these days cameras aren't subjected to the same level of QC testing that they were 20 years ago.
