i like #2 ncie colours and ncie 'soft' touch to it was the softness post processed?

The difference is 1st without flash and second with bounce flash
only re-size the picture and no other process

The first one is Lesser Grass Blue, whereas the second is Pale Grass Blue.

Quite confuse about these little butterflies......
1st was taken in the morning and the second in the afternoon at the same place downstair my block.
It looks quite the same.

The three Grass Blues (Lesser GB, Pale GB and Pygmy GB) are still easy to differentiate. Wait till u meet those species that are nearly identical, and need dissection or DNA test to tell them apart.

I like #2 except for the dark bg on top right corner.

sorry to nit pick, yes BG is better, but now foreground is disturbing, and wings OOF.
other than that it is a good shot

Trying to crop again. As you can see the dark corner is always there and the composition would be nice. I've taken five shots from this angle and all of them with dark corner. By the way, I was lying flat on the ground without support and elbow is very painful after taken these shots.

It is original without cropping. any comments?
That's all I have taken in the afternoon. I can always take again in the next morning
