The difference is 1st without flash and second with bounce flash

The first one is Lesser Grass Blue, whereas the second is Pale Grass Blue. |

Quite confuse about these little butterflies......
1st was taken in the morning and the second in the afternoon at the same place downstair my block. It looks quite the same. cheers, Patrick Ho |

The three Grass Blues (Lesser GB, Pale GB and Pygmy GB) are still easy to differentiate. Wait till u meet those species that are nearly identical, and need dissection or DNA test to tell them apart.
