calibrate printer to monitor

dear all,

how do i calibrate my monitor to my printer?? juz printed out some pix on photopaper ( for the 1st time ) and realised that the pictures turned out to be much more darker than those shown on the monitor.

You can use Spyder's Print Fix or Eye One Photo IIRC.

I'm not experienced in this area of printer calibration, I only know so much, hope it helps.
