Default Sigma 12-24mm Sample

Hiee Guys....

Here is the sample of the 12-24mm that i tested on a D70 Nikon body......while in Sigma.

Note that the vignetting is due to the ring cover that i did not remove. The dark corner will go away with the removal of this ring cover .

As you will see the lens really performs really well in handling barelling and perspective curvature.

The lines of the tiles are very straight even at different angles....

Lines looking like perspective distortion is expected for this type of super compression wide angle lens....

THe file - Right click and Save As....

Regards,
Sulhan

Sulhan,

Have you found a way to add filter to the lens? I saw it's going to be tricky because the front element bulges. I've refrained from getting this lens because I need a polarizer for taking landscape/scenery pics which is diffcult for this lens.
