Default Pics taken using Sony DSC-W5

New here and would like to share some pics using DSC-W5...

The control is limited but nice results. Only thing I dont like about is that when you zoom to 3X your hand need to be very stable or you get a blur picture due to hand shakey ...

Night shot will need a tripod or same blur results ...

Hi there, I'm using W1. Since you can set the shutter speed, you can avoid blur picture by using the lower stop and a faster shutter speed in day time. think they have some rules on wat speed to use. It depends on the object distance to u. Not too sure the formula.

At night just use flash for close object and it will be less likely to be blur.

Hope this helps

Me another W1 user too. If u activate the AF illuminator or flash for night shoots, the pictures will still turn up sharp w/o a tripod. I've even tried taking portrait shots of my frens with the slower flash option (as I wanted to capture the X'mas lighting in the background) handheld, everything comes out sharp & clear.

However, do take note of the physical distance between ur object & the cam if u wanna shoot close objects with flash under dim lighting, cos it'll tend to overexpose the subject if the object is too close to the cam as it wld've reflected too much light fr the in-built flash.

For the 1st and 4th photo, it would be better if you can get a ND filter and place in front of the lens, such that you can capture the slow movement of the water fall.

Noticed all the subjects in your shots are centralised. Would be nicer if eg.the frog is a little more to the left of the picture since it is facing to the right.
