Cycad Blue

taken in hougang HDB area.. was walking towards my car and saw something fluttering..keke decided to track it down under the hot sun..

Had to wait for quite sometime before he (male correct?) decided to let me have a peep at it's beautiful purple/blue wings.

While waiting for him in my viewfinder, I saw the 2 'tails' at the end of the wings can actually move! So cute!

Yes, that's a male Cycad Blue. Female has a broad brown band on the upperside.

The purpose of the "tails" and the crown spot is to confused potential predators into thinking that that end is the head.

ahhah i've never tot about butt of my bike..hahah.
but they are really cute right?! tiny and furry and big eyes
