Hi all
need help here. I am going to buy my first digcam. But I am in a dilemma between W5 and A95? W5 is more stylish but A95 takes better quality pictures. Which one shall I go for? Anyone can help make some commets? Thank you! |

Seems that you have already done your research. Now it's up to you to prioritise. If you want quality photos, then go for the one. If you go for style and looks, then get W5.
Some advantages of A95: - swivel LCD - DiGiC processor - full manual exposure settings - uses CF cards which is cheap - able to customise startup image and various operation sounds - bundled software allowing PC to control A95 Advantages of W5: - quick start-up - large LCD - smaller size - unlimited video recording (and very HQ) - larger memory buffer for burst shots and card-less photoshoot. One thing about Canon A-series is that although they are full-featured like a high-end cam, but being the budget-series, the processor speed is rather slow for some of the older models I've tried. In other words, focusing, auto-exposure, shutter lag, multiple shots, are not as responsive as the S-series. If you want fast response handling, Sony W5 would be a better choice. Good luck! |

Thank you, pianodancer. It's really a hard choice for me now.
