Hiz to all currently i'm a film slr user and have been using 35mm film all the while...so i'll like to ask about the differences between slides and films as i'm still a newbie

.Also, are there any shops in S'pore which develops and scans film and what is the pricing????Lastly,what are the use of filters???thank you all in advance

film has 2 types - slides and negatives

filters - mainly to screw on in front of the lens as a physical form of protection ( UV filters) or coloured filters for special effects
