The SM Card reader/writer allow you to slot your SM into it in order to read the data to your PC. You can also copy data from your PC to the reader/writer. The data tansfer is normally go through USB connection. Most of the time the data is the pictures we take in our DC.

I was quoted a SM reader/writer @ $85 from John 3:16. Luckily, I didn't buy.
