Sigma 70-300mm + 500D close-up lens. Full pic with resize. Original pic is sharp.

There is a small dot on the left side, need to check my camera or lens.

Did not notice that. First time try close-up of insects. Will observe the 'rule' in future shooting.

What are the aperture values used ? DOF look shallows to me. You should use f11 or smaller for such composition.

Last one is F13.

Will observe this (>F11) than in future.

B.T.W. For portrait, we can leave out people's leg in composition (i.e., not necessary take the full body). How does it apply to insect shooting ?
