    Can it fit the 15.4 inch laptop? I have a Computrekker and it fits my 14 inch iBook only. Anything bigger than that, I am not too sure unless the AW plus is bigger.

    Yupz. Up to 17" notebook.

    yes, it can be hand carried, and yes, it fits into the overhead compartments. I normally check in my tripod though, cos it has spiked feet, which can be cause for concern with some zealous custom officer, but I would hand carry in the ballhead.
