    I am using PHOTOfunSTUDIO 8.3 PE which came with the camera and I do no other sharpening ect.

    Young Sussex hen



    Early morning shot, exposure compensation -2 , ISO 100, still not very happy with grainy-ness of photo. May have to buy better editing software?

    Resizing with the camera software seems to be a bit hit and miss although seems to be a bit better this time.

    ...this picture shows a resolution of 96 dpi, and i think yr camera image quality setting is not at the best level.
    press menu, select camera and go to image quality and select the top most setting (2 horizontal bars and a triangle) and press OK. This will give you the finest image quality at 180 dpi.
    If you are resizing an image with other editing software, ensure the editing drop-down window resolution value is set to 180 dpi.

    The editing software that came with the camera does not allow any choice for changing resolution. Image quality setting is set on highest option.

    Found some software that gives ability to adjust dpi and once I get familiar with should help.
    Thank-you for your advice and help all of which was taken on board, will post again soon, I hope with better results.
