[QUOTE=hope107fm;8700132]Photography is all about sharing and learning. I am glad you found this thread useful. I have recently read Graham Houghton's excellent e-book on FZ200 which beats the Panasonic full manual. Here's the link, and it's free to download: "Graham Houghton has completed his e-book manual on the FZ200 and wonderfully made it free!
Valuable information, clear communication, excellent presentation.
    .pdf format.

Thank you so much, hope 107fm for your reply & the link to Graham Houghton's e-book link. I've been looking unsuccessfully for some printed articles on the FZ200 by GH, which i can read & keep as a reference manual
    Thank you once again, Hope107FM

Just got back from a short trip to Hervey Bay(about two hours 30min north of Brisbane)the weather was not kind, our fishing charter was cancelled due to high winds and squally rain, but we still had a good break.

    sharing more birding pics...

the pics are a bit blurry and the feathers a little washed becos of low light (weather was drizzling and gloomy, can see the rain drops on the water)
still learning to capture fast moving objects

These pics are good! SOOC and GH's recommended settings?

Nevertheless, great attempt. I could never get to photograph such fast moving subjects like birds. My attempts at taking aeroplanes still leave much to be desired as you can see from my postings.

I followed your advice and set to Vivid with +1 settings and noise on 0, thank-you.

Were you actually under shelter when taking these shots?

Hullo hope107fm, you are reeeally modest! your images of airplanes at the very beginning of this sub-forum are sharp, clear & inspiring. they bring into sharp focus (pardon the pun) the capabilities of the FZ200
