would it be necessary to split the UW and non-UW (assuming nova19 is willing)??
    just wondering..
if it's a small group, and if goondoo cannot book the YCK CC for u, i can offer an alternative venue nearby.

if this thread is to be kept within uw photography subforum, yes, it has to be uw photography related ps workshop. meaning that the workshop should cater quite specifically to the needs of uw photography e.g. removing blues out of the pics, creating a better blue hue of the waters etc.

if nova19 would like to open up to non uw photographers, then this thread will be moved to Digital Darkroom.

I will wait for nova19's response and see what she says lo.

since as our moderator suggested, if this is posted in UW subforum, it has to be UW related and with Siaoon's suggestions of backscatter removal, would nova 19 be keen to make this geared to UW photography? and perhaps add in another (if u wish) for the non-divers.

i will take the initiative to split the attendees.
if any violent objection to my splitting the list, pls let me know and i'd immediately remove it. be nice

the more appropriate distinguishing point should be uw photographer, and non uw photographer. though most of the time uw photographers are divers, it is not compulsorily so, as well as vice versa.

Vesak day, I cannot But I will be at Layang2 looking at hammerhead. And hopefully can get some nice photo to bring back for practice on PS during next session.
Just hope that I don't have to learn cut and paste hammerhead into my photos.

i see that many people are unable to attend vesak day's course. But, i do know that many are very keen to learn it asap so I'll still open the vesak day course.

I can expand the class by another 4 pax...since the CC Room can accomodate (Goondoo, please help me with the venue booking, thks)...but I must let y'all know that the class pace may slow down due to big class size. So perhaps y'all can help each other if got any problems in executing certain skills during course.

To be fair, since I already have an existing list, this list I will include the non-divers. For those earlier on cannot make it on vesak day but still put names, kindly let others take ur place first. Anyway if the feedback is good, I can have another one in July.

But just a disclaimer here, I have not started doing underwater photography, so I am just imparting skills from a designer's pov. Anyway hope to learn UW photography from all divers here one day too. At the same time, for those non-divers, please understand that I am trying to gear this course for divers...so maybe I be working on more UW pictures.

About laptops, I believe in such technical training, hands-on tutorial is very essential, so I strongly encourage having a laptop (that can tahan photoshop software) during class.
