hi guys, just saw some sample taken with the ZD 50mm macro lens at dpreview. very very beautiful!!

let me put it this way, the Zuiko Digital 50mm prime lens is probably the sharpest digital lens in the market, irregardless of brand. and it gives one of the best color rendition too. simply amazing considering the price.

dun let the 'slowness' of this lens fool you...
photozone did a review of it here... http://www.photozone.de/8Reviews/len...3556/index.htm and it does surprisingly well... especially when compared to other kit lenses like the canon 18-55 they also reviewed here... http://www.photozone.de/8Reviews/len...3556/index.htm btw dun compare the two mtf directly.... thier on diff scales depending on camera... |
