Default Ubin Butterfly

Just 2m away from the stick insect was this buttefly....which was quite cooperative and allowed me to take it.

FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, Ext bounce flash, F8, ISO 50, ExposureTime : 1/60Sec, hand held.

Comments are appreciated.....thanks!

Thanks simon, eow and rhair!

BTW, rhair, how do you search google for ID? I mean if have ID I know how to search for how it look like, but if have pic no ID, how to start? Just search for orange butterfly??? Appreciate that. Thanks!

Hahahaha.. I did a search of butterfly species singapore
then look through many many sites.. for those sites that have picture and the butterfly name, and keep comparing to find one that looks like yours.

Thanks for that.

I did not like the flash reflection from the leaves.....kind of shiny and all that.
BTW, are the tips of the wing white? when I used levels, I used the white dropper on the 'white' tip....
