... but the water droplets seem abit too much ... my hair starts to stand when i look longer

Hmm, maybe the overhead lighting accentuated the droplets too much. Dunno why they appear so sharp when I even did some gaussian blur.

I like #2 but would have preferred it without too many leaves

both too much water droplets, imho,

#1 have a little bit more contrast will be very nice.

#2 yes, less leaves will be nice, nice control on the b/g.

should try more still life, cheaper also, and omg will not come and disturb you.
