Default Lumix FZ10/FZ20 Owners With Tcon, Need Help.

Will like the FZ10/20 owners with Tcon to post some pic taken
with the cam max 12X optical & 12X optical with the Tcon.
Need to know is there a great difference between them.
Thanks.

yup, there is a difference, i agree. also try to take the photo w/o tcon and crop it to match the photo with tcon. then compare for any apprecialble difference in quality between the cropped one and with tcon one. unless you are really really picky about quality, i guess the gain in quality from tcon is not worth the price of tcon (especially if you consider the price of original pana tcon). jus my opinion i bought a tcon for a ultrazoom (canon S1) and regretted it later... btw, i still have that tcon - used only few times. available for sale here consider it if you still decide to buy one

I noticed that you post in B&S for both a Tcon and a Close-up filter.
In that case, I recommend that you try to get the Tcon 14B instead and close-up filters that fit the front threads. I toyed with the idea of getting a TCON14B for a while because I think using a close-up filter with a TC should get you some awesome macro shots.
Maybe there are other TCs that are threaded both ends but I don't know of any. Best of luck.

Great shots but this must be one really thirsty merlion.
It's keeping all the water inside.

I was thinking that there is something wrong with this photo but just couldn't put my finger down to what was wrong, until your post... sometimes the obvious does not appears so for me

Back to TCON for FZ20, at one time I had been looking at a Raynox DCR-2020PRO which is 2.2x and I read that it appears better than the Oly TCON17, before I could buy it.. decided to changed system, so that was the end of it.

I did enquire if any shop in Singapore was carrying it but there was none and had to be ordered from OS. May want to look at this if you want a tele that reaches further and beyond what TCON17 could.
