Question How to do framing?

Hi. I'd seen many shots being posted by others, that looked a lot nicer just because they're framed. May I know how to create a nice, professional looking 'frame' for an existing photo, using PhotoShop? I dun really wanna stick to the standard black border.

Or perhaps a few examples of nice-looking 'frames'? Thanks.
