Fire Works on May 1st @ Esplanade

dear all,

read that there is another round of fireworks on Labour Day..

miss the one on wed..

jus wan to share this info with fellow Lumixers...

NTUC's May Day Carnival & Concert 2005 at esplanade, from 4pm to 9.30pm.

Fireworks is at 9.30pm, fired from the usual spot opposite esplanade (marina bay front).

lol means will haf pple to talk to if we go set up tripod early... was thinking shld we set up nearer to esplanade like marina that area? or the bridge towards 1 fullerton?

I am newbie and haven't shoot firework before.
So can't really advise where to setup the tripod.
Also need to set a meet up time & place too.

same here.. saw somewhere someone advise setting up around 4pm..
i was thinking around 7+ 8+ maybe... at this grass patch i saw near to marina south..
new year i saw a whole group of pple set up tripod there.. so i guess it's a good spot...

Yah, I saw that thread too. Setting up at 4pm seem too early and hot but
got to chop place just in case.
7pm to 8pm will be nice but wait no place than...

Any other care to advise?
