Default UV filters and IR-Cutting effect

Hi guys,

For those who are interested in doing UV, getting the right filters for the job is crucial. That said, it is not as straight forward when it comes to digital as digital response to IR as well, which often leaks in when using just a UV bandpass filter.

Various IR-cutting method has been suggested by Bjorn, the only thing is that he didn't show their relative effects. Sometime ago, I made a couple of test shots showing the various filter combination and posted them in another forum. These may be useful for some of you here.

Here goes ...






PS: I've seen then, added a coupe of filters (e.g. Kopps', Hoya U360, etc.) if you're interested to see their effects, just let me know.
