Thread: HELP NEEDED,JOKER Found in portraits and Poses Forum

  1. #21

Default It a PUBLIC Forum ... Afteralll

    Hi nikonsiao,

I tend to agree with buddy and benedium ... I think his post and comments are not entirely out of line or distasteful ...

Afterall, this is a public forum and members are allowed to voice their 2 cents, their comments, or their opinions. Once you have posted your pictures up, then you have to accept that such things will happen. Not everyone will agree with your shots or not everyone will like your shots ... So just take it with a pinch of salt ... take in the good stuff and spit out the rest ...

Reading between the lines ... (post #18) can be very dangerous ... You may not be reading correctly .... Look at ZC post ... (sorry to bring that up) ... it has created a 5 page thread just because people were reading between the lines. And mostly reading it wrongly ... I guess ...

No need to get the Admin or Mods involve .... he/she has every right to be in this forum and voice his opinion as anyone of us ...

Hope you cool down and look at the whole situation again.

There is way for the Admin to track this person down but why waste your valuable time talking about him rather than go out for another shoot. Well this is Singapore.......plus it's internet based. You can't do anything to stop him for commenting.

If his comments is worth listening to, then we take it as we learn something. If his remarks are uncalled for, well you can delete the whole thread and created a new one. Sure it's troublesome but see after that what he does again. If this keep on repeating, the Admin will do something about it.

Oh another thing, OMG is a definately a regular person in CS. Just look at the way he writes, you notice there is a noticable similiar pattern. He is just another joker who just register a new nick to bomb peopls in CS, especially in the Portrait and Poses section. Hiya another one of those who is not happy with organisers.

    Hope this help!
just hope he is not serious.... thanks.

NS, relak brudder.....I kinda agree with Pro Image.
    You cannot please everyone...
There are clowns and blacksheeps everywhere.

Dont lose sleep over it. You are still my newbie-guru.....

Slight OT, I think its wrong to use OMG so casually even as a nick. If I'm right abt the acronym, the Lord's name have been abused & blasphemed (directly or indirectly) way too frequent.

You dont hear people xclaiming 'OMB' or 'OMM', dun you????

Hi. Please don't be discouraged by all these unnecessary comments. I am also a newbie (I think you should heard of me, always post stupid questions and in the end got slammed hard on the floor) and I do ask a lot of questions. Just like in my previous thread about shooting portraits, there are many posts that sway away from the focus. I was encouraged by a lot of helpful and nice people. Now is my turn to extend this encouragement to you.

Continue to do what you normally do, learn and do it better. Don't worry about those unworthy comments. This is an open forum so people have rights to say anything they want. They make uncalled assumptions too. But just ignore. I know it is quite difficult at times but we just have to get used to it.

There is a saying that I heard, "Good dogs only bark when necessary but crazy dogs bark all the time.". I don't know how many people actually agree to it.

I haven't been to "Portraits and Models" because it is not my area of interest. The attention raised in this thread promted me to do a search on OMG's posts.

One thing if you post your photos in an open forum be prepared to hear all sort of comments. I've received worse than OMG's comments. You should not take what you read in a photo forum that seriously.

Having said that I think OMG would realise that some of the posters are learning about portrait and model photography. A bit of tact and sensitibility would help. Who knows we may be looking at the early works of next Singapore's gift to international fashion photography?

This is worse thing I have ever read in CS and probably in my life as well. Del_CtrinoAlt, remove it immediately. This second if you can. OMG posts can be horrible. Your post above is a blasphemy. Understand it.

All - sorry for the OT. It is necessary.
