Default SBG Damsel fly series

Took this Damsel fly which was also around the DF I took. I saw two of the damsels, but manage to take one of them. Wanted to take a head on shot more but quite difficult as it was at that pose only for awhile and after that flew off and perch at over the pond and facing inwards to the pond most of the time. Taken with FZ10+Nikon 6T+Sigma CU lens, and reverse lens where stated. F8, ISO 50, ext bounce Flash. Appreciate any critique. Thnks!

#1 Perch on Flower

ExposureTime : 1/100Sec

#2 Perch on leave

ExposureTime : 1/60Sec

#3 Close up on Eye (reverse 50mm lens) Would have prefered a head on shot but could not position the camera to do so.

ExposureTime : 1/100Sec

#4 Close up between the eye (reverse lens) Anyone know what these are?

ExposureTime : 1/100Sec

#5 Front view
No chance to use reverse lens here

ExposureTime : 1/125Sec

when i saw your first reverse lense attempts, i thought FZ10+reverse lense is a lost cause! seems like i was wrong (and i'm glad i was) !!! great work keep them coming.

Hi guys

Where in SG could we find the Macro reversing ring/adaptor to mount the lens in reverse?

Thanks.

For these and your earlier dragonfly pics, did you take them handheld or with tripod?

For me, I got it from a Mass order. A reverse ring and a 49-62mm step up

All were taken handheld. The image stabilisation on the camera helped. I tend to find tripod kind of cumbersome to adjust....
