Yup... If you were at Bintan you'd see flags on the beach. Those were PSed off. Did saturation too. I personally like more saturated colors but I'm afraid of over-doing it.

For landscapes, try to keep the horizon horizontal....yours is abit slanted.

Colour seems not too rich enough. Maybe can PS it somemore?

Composition wise

Just my 2c

Oh yeah, the other shots are ok.
This one has power! Looks like the pre-tsunami shot!
Same advice as per CY, when shooting landscapes, need to watch out for horizon. As with night shooting of city skyline etc.. mine always slanted...grr.. haha..

Remeber Polariser to cut out glare, and bring more details to bright areas like sand and sky.

Your horizon always slanted ah? Haha... You must centre part your hair lah... Then you'll be more balanced.

Kavana: Hmmm... Interesting... The sea has more details now. But one thing I have to say, PS is still not a perfect substitute for the real thing. But thanks for sharing this! I never really sat down to figure out how to use that function in PS...

Thanks Lifeworld...

The main problem with these images is that they are taken at the wrong time, with flat light coming from above.

Take these images again at sunrise and sunset and see if they make a difference.
