Mass Sale: Original Canon Remote Controller for 300D/350D/EOS50/50E/30/33 - $18ea

Have got the above remote controller in hugh quantity abt 500pcs so that to bring the price down to $18ea. This batch of stock is actually meant for export to overseas but have decided to offer a portion to CSers here at the same bulk export price of $18.

This remote is original from Canon and functions the same like the RC-5. Note that the most recent Mass Sales of the RC-5 is $45ea, thus this is a hugh saving for those who wants a remote for their 300D/350D.


Open View - The base is a clip that can be fitted onto the camera strap


Closed View - The remote will interlock onto the base and is seated securely. It can only be taken out by depressing the grey button shown above

From past experience selling this remote in CS is that I receive a lot of enquiries whether it works on 1Ds/10D/1DMk2, etc. However I'm sorry to say that I can't answer these questions as I don't use any Canon system. Please note that, this is not a cable trigger but is a IR remote trigger. Do check with your camera manuals to see whether your camera body has a IR sensor and it supports IR remote triggering first before leaving your name here to reserve one. Sorry for being blunt.

haiz... i deleted all the previous pics from the last sale...

just to help sykestang answer some potential questions from canon users

(a) for 300D users, IIRC, its page 48 on ur manual abt how to set ur cam to use IR triggers. not sure abt 350D.

(b) batt can be replaced. it uses those normal watch battery easily available from any watch shops. just flip ur unit ard, and remove the very very tiny screws. the trigger will open up and reveal the batt.

(c) effective range is dependent on LOS (line of sight) and whether u using it outdoors. as long as u are within 10-20m (IIRC, according to 300D manual) in front on the cam's IR receiver, u shld have no problems triggering the cam. do note - effective range is decreased outdoors, in bright sunlight and/or haze/foggy conditions.

(d) there's a slight 5sec (IIRC) delay between u pressing the trigger and the cam firing. there's no way to disable it. IMO, not a bad idea esp when using it for grp pics. give u time to reposition urself.

cheers! had one of these too, when i had my 300D. pretty useful for those slow exposure and grp pics.
