Great Series!
You spotted the little things I totally overlooked.

Great work! Nice that you chose to capture things other than the more common shots.

Thanks and that is why we share the photos we shoot - to receive comments and learn from others and at the same time, share the way we look at things. Angles are a very personal thingie - I call it the x-factor.

If we had an assignment where all of CS went to shoot Macritchie, I am sure we will discover a lot about the place.

That's an idea - a book on Macritchie - by Singapore's own local budding talent - the Club Snappers.

Sure
I used centered weighted metering (75% / 25%) and this is my personal preference - metered around the light source.

Matrix metering tends to throw your metering a bit off because it will meter the back and increase decrease your exposure by another 2 stops or so

-1 1/2 stops, ASA 100
White balance - Daylight setting
F8, speed 1/1000
Taken in RAW

IN Photoshop
+15 Saturation
+15 contrast
-5 brightness

Hope this helps, try it and let me know whether it works in your attempt at sunrise or sun sets

Cheers
