    My 2nd attempt to learn food photography.. comments on improvements please.

    first picture looks good. 2nd picture angle abit too much down

    Just my personal opinions :

    For the salad, if the egg can show more egg yolk portion will be better to add more color to the dish.
    The natural light seem a bit too strong and wash away the color. Might want to bring back some saturation in PP.

    For the other dish, the rope and car jack add distraction to the picture.
