what kaput ? meaning no operator want to manage. not-profitable.
Financially they cannot make ends meet. It cost a lot to build, maintain and operate. The rental revenue from F&B outlets is insufficient.
great subject to shoot from far away
great add to the city scape
just too expensive to ride
London Flyer about the same price too but INCLUDES 2 way transport outside of London
I only went up once and thats it. Not worth the high (on discounted purchase) fees for that short ride. High ridership mainly contributed by Tourist and most of them on package tours I think.
For a start they could give a nice 50 percent discount on ticket price for pink ic holders.
At a price of ? $33 a ticket, I am prepared to never step afoot the flyer, And I doubt I will miss anything.
i support this by going up 3 times.....
pay one time only and another 2 times people pay me.....
Eat breath LIVERPOOL!!!
actually the flyer not that high, I went Taipei , mei li hua flyer and I can see 101 tower in far ... sg flyer... hmmm hahaha
for the price, might as well go up to MBS skypark and spend the money on a drink and no-glass walk-around multi-perspective view of the Bay area... and still cheaper too
Singapore Flyer is just a copy cat stupid idea
I eats, shoots & leaves
It was originally supposed to rotate in the opposite direction but a consultation with some the world's best feng shui masters ($$$) advised the g-man that it was inappropriate.
You see, there'll soon be many "faithful devotees" offering their utmost dedicated "prayers" at the "three giant ancestral tablets of eternal wealth" 24/7 and it was "analysed" by the feng shi masters that reversing the rotation of the "water wheel" will channel some of the flow of wealth back into the "five fingered hand with the golden ring of fortune in it's palm (Suntec City)".
