Default Domke warranty?

I recently bought a Domke bag and used it for a week, before noticing that part of the interior of the bag was not sewn properly, and that the strip of black binding material had come out. I'm pretty sure it's not my fault as the sewing one corner was very close to the edge of the binding, before missing it altogether in the middle section.

I approached the CP Peninsular Plaza staff who sold me the bag, who in turn called CP Marina, and they said they'll look at the bag before deciding what to do. I will be bringing the bag down next week. Does anyone know the likelihood of me getting the bag repaired/replaced by Domke? I don't think CP will replace my bag with another one from their shop because I've been carrying the bag around and there is some paint lost on the metal parts. TIA.

I remember reading someone actually get a new replacement from CP on a bag that is due to manufacturing defect. So try your luck, but better still to wear formally (office wear) or you are at a disadvantage unless you know them well.

(I noticed that some of the male staffs look at how you wear to serve you, but all ladies are very good).

Thanks, IT guy, for the information. I can't decide whether to bring the bag to the Peninsular or Marina branch, as I know the staff at Peninsular much better. Do you think it matters?
Firefox, you mean Christopher Wong? He's quite a gentleman.
